For those new to trail running, I suggest these Gaiters by "Dirty Girl Gaiters". They help keep debris from entering your sneaker (For those who have ran any trail run will know what I mean). I also noticed It did a great job of keeping lite rain out when I got hit with some showers on one of my runs.

The gaiter does not use the traditional gaiter loop that goes under the sneaker but has a hook integrated in the front and a small velcro strip on back to connect to the heal. The gaiter includes a strip of Velcro for the heal of the shoe. I hand wash mine after each fun which seems to help the life of the gaiter

Cons: for $17 plus free shipping, I have no Cons for this product.
